What the service does

Pivunio lets you create a group, add participants and expenses, compute each person's balance and record reimbursements. It is a calculation and tracking tool for people who know each other.

What Pivunio is not

Pivunio is not a payment service: no money is transferred by the application. Reimbursements are made by you, outside the service, and simply recorded in the app.

Pivunio performs no automatic currency conversion: when an expense is entered in a foreign currency, the converted amount is the one you enter yourself.

Pivunio is not accounting, legal or tax advice.

Access and account

Access uses an anonymous session tied to your device by default. Adding an email address is optional and only serves to find your groups elsewhere. You are responsible for the security of your device and mailbox.

Invitation links grant access to a group: only share them with the people you want to take part.

Your commitments

• Enter accurate information, in particular amounts and the participants involved.
• Use the service only for lawful, personal purposes between individuals.
• Do not attempt to access data of a group you are not a member of, or to bypass access controls.
• Do not enter unlawful, abusive or infringing content in the names and labels you type.

Accuracy of calculations

Amounts are handled as whole cents and splits are checked server-side so that the sum of the shares matches the total. The displayed results nevertheless depend entirely on what you and the other members enter: Pivunio cannot guarantee that they reflect the money actually exchanged.

Any disagreement between group members is for those people to settle.

Availability and beta status

The service is provided as is, during a beta phase. Changes, interruptions or fixes may occur without notice. We aim to preserve existing data across changes, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted availability.

It is up to you to keep a record of important information outside the service if needed.

Pricing

Pivunio is currently free, in beta, and contains no integrated payment. If a paid offer appears later, it will be clearly presented before any subscription.

Deletion and ending use

You may stop using the service at any time. Some deletions remain constrained by the consistency of a group's shared accounts. Requests about your data can be sent through the support form.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of incorrect information entered by users, nor for financial arrangements made between them. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions remain unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first, in particular through the support form.
